Had a good Thanksgiving with the family and some friends. They didn't have anywhere to go and my Grandma usually makes enough to feed an army anyways. Fun times. It is amazing how something as normal to me as going down the highway can amaze my friends from different countries. This helps me look at things freshly, because they are experiencing something completely new, but for me it is old and probably a little boring.
I am towards the end of exams right now, I have one more in American Sports History. It is a lot more fun, now that we are passed the 1940's. Most of my exams have went pretty well so far. I didn't do so hot on my Business Enterprises one but that was my own fault.
Last week wasn't so good for me. Just an accumulations of things came up and knocked me pretty hard on my ass. This week is much better. One of the things that bugged me a lot was hearing for the second time in about 3 weeks that people have heard from my former roommate of two years, since he has been in Japan. I have not. There are two friends who have known him longer, so that is fine. But everyone else, he has known less than a year and a half. I don't want a lot, even a general mass email saying "I'm here and okay.", would be acceptable by me. I heard from a mutual friend that picked him up from the airport he got there but not from him.
There were other things last week I won't go into but another one is car troubles. That is 2 times in about a month I have had to get towed. Thankfully this last time I was not in Detroit. I got a flat tire. :( But thankfully my roommate with a car was around, and she was able to pick me up. Sometimes I don't know what I would do without her.
I figured out my girl difficulties. It took a long time but I know who I would rather date now. She was my first choice all along.
This weekend will prove busy and socially fun. People are graduating, which is sad, but they are getting out of Kalamazoo, so who can blame them for not staying.
I should be studying, so I am going to do that now.
