Who wants to see Death Cab for Cutie on March 15?
Anyone? The fates have conspired to keep me from my most recent concert events, so i say we all spit in the face of destiny and see ani difranco, death cab for cutie, AND junior senior. muwahahaha.
also, is anyone interested in messing around with some ex-pat republicans? "republicans abroad japan" is throwing a super-tuesday party next wednesday, and my little sister and her little hitler-youth pals are going to attend. all in favor of crashing, get your jackboots and black shirts ready, because its time to teach our conservative friends how it's done.
you know those choral groups that come to asij every once in a while and give a performance? well, the yale group is coming soon, and my mom offered to put up a couple of them for a week (without my permission.) fortunately they aren't going to be taking my room. here's hoping they're not horrifically nerdy, like so many of them have been in the past; there are usually a couple of decent looking guys. i don't even know if they're gonna be guys, but i guess we'll see.
I'm torn between a ten day program at georgetown this summer and a 6 week one at cornell. the georgetown one is more interesting, in a city, and there's less work. on the other hand, ritchie's going to cornell, and there are co-ed dorms. co-ed dorms. hmmm. it's a toughie. any advice is welcome.
