He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven
Ok, took me a little longer than I wanted, but I have some free time to update, so I thought it'd be nice to get around to talking about Ozzfest. All in all, it was a wholesome experience ^_^. The bands were awesome, the atmosphere was great, and I had the time of my life. My highlights were probably Lamb of God, Judas Priest, Slayer, and Black Sabbath, in that order. I endured the pain of many pits, and enjoyed it all the while. Here is my list of injuries: Elbowed in the chest/stomach area three times, elbowed once in the left shoulder exceptionally hard, elbowed once in the left jaw, and in a Slayer pit I caught the last elbow in the neck. Also, I fell in the first pit I was in and cut a small chunk out of my left palm. Although not an injury, I almost lost a shoe in another pit (I think Lamb of God). Finally, I ate shit in that one Slayer pit when one skinhead decided to grab me around the waist and throw me. I flew into the crowd and another guy landed on top of me, so when they tried to pick me up, I couldn't go anywhere since the guy was heavy. Also, getting thrown somehow ended up hurting my left elbow, so it's going to be sore for a few days. That about covers my pains, but I don't really care, it was totally worth it. I better be going for now, I need to work on a fight scene with Necro (fun stuff ^_^). - Phil
