Watch the sky!
Whilst Mandy and I were on an evening walk the other night we heard this commotion in the trees. Out of the tree flew a hawk with a squirrel in its talons. There was another squirrel in the tree literally screaming.
We couldn't decide if the squirrel had the emotional capacity to cope with what had just happened. Then we started thinking about whether they were squirrel buddies, enemies or mother and child. In the end we decided that maybe the squirrel was just screaming as it was so happy to be alive. Sort of saying to itself: "shit! that could have been me!"
Hockey season. Get in.
