As punishment for Lucius's mistake, Voldemort has ordered Draco to do something; Narcissa has Snape swear that he will protect Draco, and carry out the order should Draco fail. This seems to fit with the spoilers Mira's already posted about Draco being coerced by Voldemort.
Dumbledore does die. And that's not all. It's Snape who kills him. Yeah, you heard me. (!!!!!!!!!)
Snape is also the half-blood Prince. Apparently Prince is his mother's maiden name.
