I'm so sorry. I wasn't laughing at you. I didn't intend you to take it that way. I was just so happy and relieved and I didn't know how to react, so I said the first thing that came to my head, which obviously wasn't the right thing.

I just wish you'd say something.

I did talk to Justin about it, because I didn't know what else to do - you just disappeared and went off to Potions before I could explain myself! I couldn't find Ginny, and Ron doesn't understand, and none of the other girls like me very much except the ones I don't like very much. Apart from you, he's really the only other person I could talk to. But I'd much rather be talking to you than him, at least about this.

And you should know I wouldn't be having you on about something like this. I might be thoughtless sometimes but I'm not cruel.
