Billboard Magazine called me today while I was in the shower, apparently the school sent them a copy of my resume and they're interested in having me come in for an interview for a Fall internship. Also, I hopefully, have an interview with the Long Island Press next week. I'm real iffy about the Billboard internship, though. I know it'd be a great experience, maybe better then one I would get if I interned at just a regular town newspaper here on the Island, but I'm just a little overwhelmed about it. I know I'd get used to riding the train by myself and whatnot; it's just that I know financially I probably wouldn't be able to afford a train ticket all the time, and the fact that I know my grandparents would jump to pay for it just so I can have the experience kind of kills me because I hate taking money from them. I know they would be more then happy to, because they're always helping Danny and I out when it comes to school because they want what's best for us, and they wouldn't even think twice about it. I don't know, I know if I don't at least go in for an interview I'll kick myself for it. I guess we'll see.
