More fic ideas and a bit of a writing update.
Continuing to write and post my Being Human/Torchwood crossover fic (despite it apparently being the least popular thing I've written, I'm still having fun writing it.)
Looking at the word count for this month I've realised that I've written and posted 16,000 words of fic this month - with about another 5000 words written but not posted. To keep on track for all that I want to write this year I need to keep that kind of word count every month for the next four months.
And even though I've got a load of other stories to write I'm still getting more ideas.

Yet another Children of Earth based fic.
The aliens that took Gray were the 456. Johnson is trying to retrieve Gray from Torchwood because of this. She still explodes Jack and the Hub, but as a means to get in and grab Gray in the confusion. They take Jack and they have Gray watch him revive. Gray realises they have got him in an attempt to appease the 456 and decides that he's not going to help them. So he breaks Jack out. So there are two groups Gwen, Ianto and Rhys in hiding and Jack and Gray on the run.
Johnson then resorts to kidnapping Alice and Steven, wanting Jack to trade in Gray for them.
The Thames House thing doesn't happen as Jack and Ianto aren't in the same place on day 4 in London.
They eventually get to the point where they need to send the brainwave signal to get rid of the 456. Gray sees Steven, sees himself at the same age and decides that he can't let them use Steven and this gives him a chance at revenge against the 456. There is a chance because of his own history with the 456 that his brainwaves will work. The government don't want to go with a maybe when they've got an almost certainly. Working together Jack, Gray and Alice secure the room. They send the signal using Gray. Gray doesn't die, he loses consciousness when he comes round he's pretty much had his brain reset back to when he was a child. So Jack has his brother back, sort of, Gray the child doesn't recognise Jack as being his brother.
A different 6 months later. Jack is dropping Gray off a Providence Park, it appears that Gray's mind is never going to recover and he's going to be left with a mental age of about 5/6 for the rest of his life, and Jack has been forced to admit that he's not able to cope with caring for him.
Jack walks outside, to find Ianto and Gwen waiting by a brand new SUV - still with the very unsubtle Torchwood stencil on the side. Jack looks back to see running around on the lawns on the place with a kite, laughing, and generally acting like a little kid. Ianto puts an arm round him. Gwen's phone rings - it's PC Andy giving them the heads up about something weird happening down in Cardiff Bay. They get in the SUV and drive off.
Being Human - backstory fic.
The life of Anthony Michael McNair. From when he was a junior surveyor in his early 20's and was taken by vampires and shoved in a cage to fight a werewolf for their entertainment, surviving, but finding he'd been turned into what he'd just fought. Through his life starting to fall apart, his first transformations and the terrible situation which brought his adopted son, Tom, to him. The challenge of living below the radar, being a werewolf and raising your young child who is also a werewolf, through to him being the hard man vampire hunter that he is when he first appears in the series. Maybe going AU after episode 'though the heavens fall'
Though the Heavens fall AU
McNair wins and survives his fight with Herrick. He sees Annie and Mitchell argue just before the police arrive and makes a run for it. Hurt, he gets back to the van in the wood. Tom finds him. George and Nina arrive back outside the house, Nina tells George she was the one to tip the police off about Mitchell. George goes to the police station to find Mitchell, but because of the lack of Herrick, Nina is alright, but can't get into the house because of it being filled with police. Nina goes to the woods and finds Tom trying to patch up McNair.
The vampire old ones secure Mitchell's release and take him away. George and Annie want to rescue him. George says Mitchell can change, that they can help him. Annie isn't so sure, but doesn't think leaving him with the old ones where he'll have no choice but to feed on people again is the way forward. Nina can't believe they are seriously considering risking their lives for a vampire who was only arrested for something that he'd actually done. McNair thinks that they should just stake all the vampires and Tom wonders how things have go so complicated.
Wolf Shaped Bullet AU
Goes AU after the point with the Herrick, Tom, George and Mitchell stand off. Once Mitchell lets go of George, rather than letting Herrick walk away Tom stakes him. Mitchell's runs off leaving George to take an injured Tom to the hospital.
George finds Nina at the hospital, she had still been stabbed by Herrick (as per episode), she survives but lost the baby. Tom after being patched up discharges himself and goes back to his dad's van and grave in the woods.
Tom reappears at the house at the point where in the episode Wydam arrives and tries to take Mitchell and not getting the finer points of not pissing off the powerful ancient vampires see him threatening his friends and stakes him.
Eve of the War AU
Basically a George doesn't die fix-it fic. After George forces a partial transformation to save Eve, Tom manages to help him reverse it. (Tom tells him he tried it when he was a kid, a lot of really stupid things had seemed a good idea back when he was 10 - his dad got super protective of him after that as he thought he was going to lose him). George is still pretty sick though and will remain like it until the next full moon allows him to transform properly. Annie and Tom looking after George and baby Eve, without any of the vampire prophesy stuff (For the purposes of this it was no more than a self fulfilling one like the Wolf Shaped Bullet). Hal, Leo and Pearl turn up during the time before the full moon.
Probably leading eventually to George/Tom, and possibly Annie/Hal.
