Day 21 - Game with the best story.
Surprised this didn’t go to Chrono Trigger? Well let me put it like this; Chrono Trigger is the insanely hot girl that is great in bed but Final Fantasy 6 is the cute nerdy chick you can have the deep and meaningful conversation with. So you can see why I picked Chrono Trigger *wink wink*. No seriously, if I could have a threesome with both girls I would... What was I talking about again? Oh yeah the story of Final Fantasy 6.
OK so Final Fantasy has been rather hit and miss with its stories; the early few didn’t have one or were just generic fantasy story number 1299384 and the later ones tended to be a bit lame (I’m looking at you 8 and 10) two were even MMOs. But 6 will always have the top spot for me because of one simple reason; the ensemble cast. Each character got their time to shine and most got at least one spotlight arc in both the world of ruin and the world of balance. I mean look at seven; every character is connected to the plot via Cloud except for Areith and you know what? Fuck Areith. In six everyone had their own reason to be there and it all came together in the endgame.
I’ve talked about this game’s story in previous posts so I won’t go on about it here. Next is a game sequel that disappointed my and Boy do I have something to say for that one.
