Awesome crafty friends are awesome!

So last May, randomerican and I got to spend our first day in London with theanniemal and chiiyo watching Benedict in Frankenstein at the National, sharing a meal with a bunch of other Sherlock fans, and then drinking tea and being silly in our room back at the B & B. Sadly, our first day in England was their last. chiiyo, being awesome and crafty, had made each of us a gift of a pin shaped like one of three things: Sherlock's scarf, John's stripy jumper, or Mycroft's umbrella. I got Sherlock's scarf and randomerican got John's jumper. Several months ago, I asked if I could pay her to make me a John jumper. She refused to take any money but she said she would make me one. My life has been busy, and I know hers has, too, and I'd forgotten about it.

This evening, I came home to find a package from Singapore waiting for me and I knew immediately what it was. I couldn't open it fast enough. And inside it was this fabulousness. The cute, it burns!
