Okay I'm back again. Sorry for the late update, but having vacation is such a hardship ;P. Now I'm back with another attempt to find the perfect city for our Tri-country meet-up.

The last poll showed that 22 October is the favorite date. So this is the last poll to find a definite location.

I x-posted this on the German fan community sherlock_de and also mentioned there that you might need German help.
I myself live too deep in the south of Germany to be any real help with local knowledge. I hope that someone living near Aachen might be interested in helping. If this should not be the case, let me know and I will help anyway. That are telephones for. ;)

By the way, thank you so much for organising this. I hope that I will be able to come.

I am not a frequent visitor of this community, but I would love to come nonetheless if that's allowed. Can I crosspost this on Bakerstreet Supperclub (I'm pretty sure the meet wasn't mentioned there but I could be mistaken)? I live near Aachen (in Maastricht, so I would be fine with either place) and speak German so I can help with that too. ^_^

I was actually planning on posting this to the Bakerstreet Supperclub , but got a bit distracted and then couldn't log in. So be free to post it.

And help would be great, because judging by the poll it will be Aachen and my German sucks.

There is no: I don't care, i just want to meet you gusy option.
I've already been to Aachen so I'd vote for Maastricht or Utrecht to see something new.
If it's Aachen and you need help, I can make phone calls and write emails. My German is kinda fluent, being German and all that ;)

I'll be making a post hopefully this weekend in which we will have to plan further. We'll need to find a place where we can eat, hide depending on the weather and I will need some help with that so I will most likely ask for help with that when I get to it.

Wait a minute, I was so happy we'd nearly settled on Aachen and then I saw the date in fine print. Will it really be the 22nd? I'm working on a fan convention (FACTS) that weekend as a dealer/artist. Any other weekend in October would've been fine. (I sob, and so does my empty agenda!)
