Follow in Stacias footsteps
Here is my monthly update.
On the 28th of July it was my anniversary with Mo. Well I had to go to work in the morning for a cart driving class (so i dont crash or something ::shrugs::) and then I rushed to my Aunt Lindas to meet Morry for our "date" .....See Mo told me we couldnt do much because he was on a horrid deadline that monday (our anni was on a friday) So i am at my Aunts getting ready, she was watching the baby for us that night, and When mo gets there he tells me i cannot change into my pretty dress until around dinner time...to which i thought oh man i will prob have to change in the car lol. So Char made my hair all pretty and Morry and i were on our way to wherever he was taking me. On dale mabry i realized i had left my cell phone charging at my aunts =( but it was already 1 something and he wanted to get going because according to morry aunt linda could only watch that baby until 10:30 that night. I was like ok i wonder where we are going, at this point we pass ybor and Mo goes "aww crap"..i reply "oh were we going to Ybor" he smiles and says "no im playing we are goin to orlando" SO i started to get excited because even if we have to be home by 10:30 we could still eat out somewhere great.
We chit chat the whole way up and as we get close to orlando i start to play my DS and zone out, I look up when mo says "happiest celebration on earth huh" and we are at Disneys gates...so now im thinking we are going to Down Town Disney (from here on refered to as DTD) Well we drive around for a while and Mo seems a little lost which is odd cus he KNOWS were DTD is. So he takes a left right before DTD and turns into my fav resort ever Port Orleans...I started freaking and going "are we staying are we staying are we staying" to which he laughed and said yes we are staying. He had fibbed about his deadline and evne picked a fight earlier in the week to throw me off. So we finally get to our room (our first one didnt have a bath tub so we switched) and when he was checking in he made me walk away. So now im really curious...well at the hotel room he tells me he wanted to take me to a park but now its to late so we can hang out at DTD...so we did which was a lot of fun just putzing around. At 5:30ish we went back to the hotel room to get changed and Mo put on this great suit and i wore a cute dress he had bought me. We go back to DTD and Mo starts walking me towards...Wolfgang Pucks, i was so excited because who hasnt heard about how good his food is! We go in and upstairs and there are a dozen roses on the table for me ^_^
Mo ordered a steak and i got this fantastic squash soup and great sweet corn pasta...we had the most amazing view of the water from there. We each had a drink and some AMAZING desserts...a banana puff thing and this great chocolate mousse thing. I about died from yummy food.
After dinner we headed to the car to exchange gifts and on our way there Mo stops and says "out of all the people here i cant believe i spotted her" Im looking around going "who where what" and right in front of me is my mom and her friend Sam. I knew mom was in town for a shriner thing and she had to go and brag how she was going to Cirqu Du Solei's La Nouba! I was like you suck mom, then hugged her and Mo told me about plans for breakfast with my mom the next day. So we go to the car and he loves my gifts to him (thank you Char and Stacia and Bukki for helping me figure it all out) and then he gets something out of the trunk and we walk back to DTD. We keep getting closer and closer to La nouba and he stops and pulls something out of his pocket and says "this is what i got you for our anniversary" His hand is empty so i clap my hand in his and he puts his other hand over is and says "we are going to La Nouba"
For those who know me this is a HUGE deal because i am SO into costumes! I was so excited and bouncing around. When we got in our seats were just four lil rows back. I was so over whealmed at all the planning and time Mo put into this i told him how this was just a perfect night and he said he was sorry he didnt get me anything physical...i told him i just needed time with him and memories. So we watched the show and ill be honest i cried and how cool it was, not like sobbing but i teared up and was over joyed with the costumes and feats of these performers. I had such a blast and was WAY EXCITED after the show, like babbling about costume theory and colors used to push the story etc etc! We talked with my mom outside for a bit and she bought me a program, which was so nice i love my mommy...but i noticed she was a lil quite, i chalked it up to her being sleepy.
I told Mo lets go back to the hotel and go swimming in the pool (this resort has the COOLEST pool) But mo said can we walk for a while...since the night had cooled off it was a great idea. I babbled to Mo about how amazing it all was and how amazing he was...we got next to the bongos place and he said...do you like it here? I answered yes its very pretty (there was a multi colored waterfall) then he said...you know i Love you right...i said of course (in my head being the jackass i am i finished his sentence with"but we need to see other people" lol) then Mo got on his knee and my hands flew to my face. I repeated oh my God about a hundred times in two sec flat. He said Carlye i love you, will you Marry me. I got down on my knees with him and said yes, he quickly helped me back up and NOW i was sobbing.
There is more to this story but thats the biggest part
Morry and I are getting Married...sometime in 07...i hope all of our friends from out of state and in can make it. He treated me like a total princess and made that night unforgetable.
