Because I swore I wasn't going to whine

I know I've been absent for a while, but I didn't want to turn this into complaint central. So I figured it was better to say nothing than lots of crap.

Dream report (don't kill me, sweetie, I know you're sick of it already): It is present day. James and Wilson Sinclair are my wards, as I am their nanny. Emmy Rossum as Christine from Phantom of the Opera is their older sister. We live in the desert, but it snows there. The Phantom (aka Gerard Butler) is after Christine, and so he kidnaps us to hold us hostage until she gives in to his list of demands. Problem is, he's too nice and doesn't really want to hurt us. Thus, there are these crazy scenes of Gerry playing cards with Wilson, who is sobbing hysterically, and Phantom asking if we're comfortable enough while he's tying us to various pieces of furniture. The "real" nanny of these children comes back at some point, but Gerry knocks her out by dropping a watermelon on her head. Eventually, Emmy/Christine comes home to find us all bound up in the house with the Phantom waiting for her with his list, which apparently also includes chocolate-covered raisins, so we all have to go to the store for his raisins. We buy all the chocolate-covered raisins in the store. Wilson, James, Christine, the Phantom and I are all carrying a crate of raisins when Christine decides to make a break for it. Unfortunately, it's winter in the desert, so everything is very icy and she falls down and Gerry catches her. He takes us out into the middle of the now-sweltering desert and demands that she give him everything else on his list. She says, "All right, you can have anything you want, but I am not giving you 'a tender kiss." Gerry whines, "But I WANT the tender kiss!" And then it was over.

Sooooo yeah. Frickin weird.

Work good. I dance a lot. It's strange, but it makes me feel accomplished.

My mother has ruined the fourth of July for the rest of my natural life. Even my grandmother agreed she went crazy. Shocker, right? But I'm surviving over here.

Don't know what else quite yet. Maybe more tonight.
