Who: Spike
Where: Basement, Hideout
When: Oct. 15th
invited: Xander

It wasn't often that the basement came equipped with a colonial billiards table carved out of of maple.

Overall, it was a nice setup, obviously some rich-body's toy room.  Fully stocked bar. Large screen television with surround sound.  Home gym. Sweeeeet...

Even half-starved and ( Read more... )

As Spike continued his run, Xander could only stare at Anya, and hear his heart beating. He wasn't sure what to say.

"So Anya, how is the revenge business going?" was all he could blurt.

How could he have been such a jerk to her, he kept thinking back and flipping through his mistakes, each time they seemed larger and more obvious. He could feel his anger at himself building, he tightened his bandaged hand into a ball, letting the wound remind him of what he was responsible for

I will take care of that in the end, but I need to finish other business first he glanced back into the darkness in the basement, so much work to do before he could finish it. He started tallying his list, when he remembered Anya was there. The anger subsided and all he could do was stare at her, missing her.

"snortSNORTsnort- Caught in an embarrassing mid-snore, Spike's awesome vampire reflexes saved him from staking himself on his own pool cue. Largely oblivious to his surroundings, the vampire had to perform a survey of the room to ascertain that Anya and Xander were emitting hormones and making with the bedroom eyes.

Also, Spike thought that his unusually astute hearing detected the sound of mice scratching in the walls...

"Get over there and apologize while you're makin' an arse of yourself anyway," Spike told Xander, putting a hand on the boy's back and delivering a solid shove.

Self-conscious, wondering if he should leave...or at least offer to sleep on the other side of the room, William stared fixedly at the pool table, and took a lousy shot, which failed to sink a ball, thus ending the vampire's run.

"'Spike's right'," Spike quoted, sing-song. "Words to be effing immortalized. Comin' from the ponce." He sounded gruff, but was secretly pleased and flattered, in a purely poncy sentiment of his own.

Anya wore Rip-My-Knickers-Off-and-Shag-Me-Senseless like three dollars worth of bathroom polo. Spike could barely keep his reaction under wraps, vampire nostrils flaring in interest, pupils darkening and enlarging...

And Buffy would stake him faster than a Catholic schoolgirl lifted her skirt...

"I'm just gonna leave you kids alone," he muttered, abandoning both pool cue and game, edging toward the adjacent room where the basement playground included a jacuzzi.
