Who: Cordelia, Wes, Angelus
When: October 13th
Where: Hideout

Cordelia was sitting in her room looking at the night sky through the window, it had been a month since she had lost the one remaining member of her Family. Everything had fallen apart and now Angel was a monster and who knew where the hell Wesley was, he hadn't even attempted to try and ( Read more... )

He'd been following them, watching them. His so called former friends. Fred hardly ever came out of hideout, as did Cordelia. Angel, on the other hand, did. Of course he did, Wesley thought with a sneer. Big hulking hero had to make sure everyone knew just that ( ... )

Cordelia wandered down the street the sparkle that had always been in her eyes was gone her eyes were vacant, the Cordelia that had lived in this body before was being suppressed buy something, the Powers had tried to contact her multiple times since the change she saw snippets of a female demon who thrived on chaos but she pushed the visions back "They don't matter any more" she muttered to herself.

Cordelia gasped and shuttered as the cold metal touched her neck and closed her eyes when she heard that familiar voice

"Wesley" she whispered and turned to see him looking at her rage filled his face

"Have you come to kill me Wes? I thought it would be Angelus" Cordelia laughed to herself and then started to sob, she was being overwhelmed by emotions she grabbed the barrel of the gun and moved it up to her heart

"Make it stop Wes, make this pain go away, I have nothing, I don't have you or Angel and everyone is gone" she closed her eyes and waited for Wes to pull the trigger.

"Kill you?" Wesley let out a harsh and bitter laugh. Kill her. If he wanted to kill her he'd have done so already and be done with it. No, killing them would be to easy. Oh so easy. Had he gotten of easy? No, he hadn't, far from it in fact. So why should they get of easy, why should they not have to suffer ( ... )

"Isn't this just a touching sight!" Angelus appeared as if by segue, stage right, a dark dramatic shift in the music, completing Wesley's sinister score. The vampire loomed large, staring at the pair of humans with fiendish glee. Oh, irony! Wesley holding a gun on the drama queen!

"Hey, Wes, how're ya doing? Cordy, sweetie, your mascara is running," Angelus greeted, tone cheerful and chatty. The vampire approached the pair swiftly, his gaze briefly fixated upon his former friend's firearm as it slid back into its holster. Oh, big! Shiny! Angelus envied the size of Wesley's gun!His jaw worked, teeth gnashing in irritation at the triviality, which he shoved aside with determination. He'd get a gun later! A bigger one! With a larger caliber bullet, and the nastiest armor-piercing ammunition available ( ... )

Skidding to a halt, Wesley frowned when Angelus grabbed Cordelia. Oh sure, leave it up to the damn vampire to spoil his fun. It had always been Angel, Angel, Angel to everyone and Wesley had quite enough of it. Angelus, it would seem, wasn't any different.

Bastard. Rotten bastard. Didn't the idiot know that Cordelia was *his*? Cordelia was Wesley's and that was the end of it. Growling under his breath, he slowly approached the couple. Eyes flicking from Angelus arrogant gleeful face, to Cordelia's frightened panicked one.

Something was wrong with this picture, Wesley knew that much. Aside from him feeling annoyed at Angelus holding Cordelia. He should be angry, frightened, swinging out for the rescue no matter whom it was. And that was definitely wrong here ( ... )

"Stupid Wes," Angelus said, glancing at the hole in his coat. Annoying. But not the end of this world, since this particular trench happened to be one that he'd stolen from someone else, in a fit of envy. The jacket might be ruined, but at least it wasn't the vampire's very favorite signature Billowy Trenchcoat.

The pain wasn't particularly bothersome. In fact, to a masochist, it was something of a turn on, and right that second Angelus was seriously digging the pithy English bastard. Mmmm...sexy. Made him want to turn Wesley over a table and rip him a new one.

Angelus charged forward into the shotgun, accepting the second shot to the shoulder. Later Dru or Darla would be picking buckshot out of him with a pair of pliers... Oh, he knew, it would be Drusilla. And she would make sure that it hurt. Her reward for being denied daddy's attention...The vampire's hand closed on the barrel, and he swung the weapon, clubbing Wesley in the head and shoulders. The vampire packed all of his formidable strength into the blow, knocking the ( ... )

Cordelia watched the scene unfold, she stood and started to run in the opposite direction towards the hideout but stopped and looked back, she saw Angelus hit Wes and then start to drag him across the pavement, she turned to start running again but stopped herself, closed her eyes and sighed.

"Its Wes" she whispered to herself and turned and started to run towards the pair of them

"bad idea Cordy, baaad friggin idea Cordy" she mumbled to herself as she approached them, her hands were glowing bright and she raised her hands and hit Angelus in the back of the head with a beam of white light, why she didn't go for the heart she didn't know, she watched as Angelus fell forward and she rushed to Wesley's side

"You still want to kill me?" she said as she helped the watcher to his feet still pointing her glowing hand at Angelus's back "lets go" she said the watcher.

How did this happen? How was it possible this happened. After he made sure, *sure*, not to make the same mistake twice. Wesley remembered all to vividly how Angelus had grabbed his gun and tossed him of a flight of stairs while hunting the bastard down with Faith. That's why Wesley had made sure not ever to be caught in that same situation again ( ... )
