Oliver was finishing up a round of billiards against a heavily adorned Kaleesh, in the far back of the room. Kaleesh was a fearsome looking fiend with reddish-brown scaly skin, four clawed hands, clawed toes, and legs bent back at the knee. He was bedecked with serendibite and red diamonds and a rare artifact around his neck made of the same stones. Oliver has coveted it ever since he has laid eyes upon it. The demon did not even know its true value. “Games almost over. You better get your game straight if you want to hang on to your jewels.” Oliver smirked knowing he had a significant lead against his competitor. The Kaleesh smirked in response as if he had something up his sleeve.

Oliver glanced about the room quickly, noting familiar faces across the room. However, that familiarity was only a one way street. Turning his attention back to the game he realized that within a matter of seconds the Kaleesh managed to sink his solids into the pockets and sunk the eight ball from an odd angle, that required talent that Kaleesh lacked. Knowing the Kaleesh’s nature of trickery and deception, Oliver knew he’s been fiddled.

“Are you making an arse of me?” Oliver seemed to calmly inquire, while scorching within. The Kaleesh shook his head denying the accusations, but he did so mockingly, showing off his prized possessions. The relic held a glow that radiated from the mesmerizing gemstones. Want, need, and desperation were slowly seeping within Oliver, growing at a massive pace. ‘The loads of money I can get from that relic...’ that thought consumed his mind. He knew that at that moment, the only thing that would soothe his anguish was to make that relic his.

“Normally, I’d go ‘bout my business.” He managed to state rather nonchalantly. “But it ain’t the day...” As soon as he spoke, he had pushed the Kaleesh up against a dim corner as to deter away attention. He placed his hands on the Kaleesh and generated enough electrical energy to fry him...quickly. He managed to conceal the use of his power through the skin, revealing only the demons sudden convulsions. He released the Kaleesh as he felt his body go limp and discarded him to the ground. Oliver bent over and picked up the relic. He also grabbed the demon’s crackly looking hands and ripped his finger off to remove the adamant ring. “Should’ve let me win.” He smirked as he looked about and noticed the eye-bulging stares. “The world is a better place without him.” He spoke in a attempt to suddenly rationalize the situation.

Oliver shrugged any doubts aside as he took the jewels and stuffed it in his trousers, feeling extremely satisfied. He then turned away from the billiards section and made his way towards Dawn and Xander.
