I wonder if women realize that the Sex and the City movie is officially Star Trek for girls. Women spent hours camping in line to attend the premiere. Numerous girls I know have organized or plan to attend some function at which they will emulate their favorite characters (by drinking cosmopolitans, wearing fancy clothes/shoes, etc.), can discuss for hours on end the various credits and demerits of each character, including which one each considers herself most like, and recite verbatim whole scenes from their favorite episodes.

Ladies, if you go see the Sex and the City movie, make out with a Trekkie afterward. They understand you like no one else.
