I have joined a new gym (for a bargain student price, due to working at a university) and decided to start going to aerobics classes. Last night I went to one rejoicing in the name of Body Pump, which involves exercises with weights.

By the time the hour long class ended, I was shaking with the effort. Then I had to go pick up my keys to my new flat (hurray!), which involved a half hour stagger from tube station to flat (some of which was in the wrong direction, then doubling back on myself). By the time I got home and went to bed I was almost asleep on my feet.

Today I woke up and my legs won't move properly. My muscles all hurt, and I can't go down stairs easily because it's too painful. I can't walk at normal speed, because my legs won't quite do as I want them to.

And they say exercise is good for you?
