Back From Tokyo In Tulsa
Pictures coming soon, soon as I can find something to make them pretty, because contrary to what people tell me, Picasa 3 is NOT an effective picture editing tool. >.<
But the convention was fun. I'm really glad I went. There were a few minor set backs and we ended up leaving way later than we'd intended, but nonetheless, we got there, and had a blast. Me and Coyo ended up doing this whole "Yin and Yang" concept, which somehow evolved into us being 'Not Mokonas' (see pictures later). But it turned out pretty well, and we got our picture taken a lot, even though no one online seems to have them or have uploaded them yet. It's going to happen though. I'm determined to find them.
On a side note, we also got stalked by an old guy with a video camera and a kid in a bleach hat. And some Tsubasa cosplayers made us take photos with them. But oh well, we made them happy.
I got back Sunday night around midnight, and ended up hanging with my buddy Nero at this mansion-ish house he's house sitting for. It's quite nice. Somehow, he talked me into going swimming at 2am, and I got sick, but he let me snuggle with him that night, so I guess it's a fair trade (I spoon so hard it's almost painful, lol).
On a totally overly excited happy note, my mom has agreed to take us to whatever Cons we want, so long as we pay (ie, she just drives). Which is totally fine with me and my buddies. Now, we're planning a trip to AnimeFest down in Dallas, Texas during Labor Day weekend. That should be pretty damn fun. I'm pretty excited, even though we still currently need two more people.
