Bodie watched as Doyle manoeuvred the Escort into the evening traffic, not quite knowing whether to suggest a destination for their meal. Doyle would no doubt want to visit the tatty Italian but he had visualised somewhere classier, more … intimate.
Distracted by the soft green stretched taut across Doyle’s thighs, Bodie licked his dry lips.
He felt indecisive … a first for him.
Suddenly realising that the car had stopped, he tried frantically to get his bearings. The restaurant’s lights sparkled in the darkness.
L’Escargot.
‘Are you with me, Sunshine?’ Doyle asked, with a soft smile on his face.
