Ooh, I liked this. Well-thought out, and a nice ending to top it off.

I've really wanted to read a fic inspired by 'Obsession', and this is just perfect. The rapid transition from Kilner and Doomer to Bodie and Doyle (in real life)I had thought impossible to bridge, but you have done it so cleverly. And Cowley picking up both of them, and pairing them, and resuming their relationship on a happier footing, and the chronology of 5 November, it just fits perfectly.

[Afer re-reading] You've done a great job of making explicit the idea, carrying on from 'Obsession' to Pros, 'they were meant to be together'. And Cowley as matchmaker. :)

I did like that! It is a very plausible transition, although I was wondering how you'd bring Doomer back to life, but he wasn't deaded after all.

Thank you for a lovely read.

Mmm, I thought Doomer was dead and Doyle was a look-alike - so Doomer's transformation into Doyle in part II came as a happy surprise.

although Cowley's attaching three first names to it seemed unreasonably cruel.

*snicker* More names for a stronger identity? Cowley has some interesting ideas.

which apparently made up for a slight tendency towards treason.

You already know how much I love this line, but I'll tell you again: I LOVE IT, DUCHESS! :-D

Do you want me to continue with this like you said? It is apparently my meaning in life to creep you out, no? ;-)

There they stood, Cowley's men, with none of them a name of their own.
