What's more, while that does mash up pieces of a few dozen episodes, it's not making any of it up or significantly misrepresenting events. All of those things happen, the stakes really do go cosmic at times. It's like pastel-colored Lovecraft sometimes.

Yup, that's a pretty good trailer for the show. Not the sweetness and light it appears on first glance, nor only lightweight stories and fluff.

But if you can appreciate both the small and silly stories as well as the big cosmic events, it is a damn good show.
