For the followers of Girl Genius:

Has it ever been proven that Klaus couldn't be Agatha's biological father? Especially given this scene? Or is the timeline all wrong?

Hmm... I think something's been said along the lines of Gil and Agatha not being a "Luke and Leia" setup, but L&L were fraternal twins, not half-siblings, so...?

The son was born prior to Agatha.

After the attacks, Lucrezia fled while pregnant with Agatha, and the Geisterdamen remember Agatha as a baby - their Holy Child.

Also, Agatha heterodynes - her odd humming/singing. That is a Heterodyne trait.

Now, sure, Lucrezia and/or Klaus could have some Heterodyne blood in them.

But all signs point towards her not being Klaus's kid.

Klaus does mention a wife he hasn't seen in a very long time.

Now, some people wonder if Gil and Zeetha might be related. It seems very likely that Klaus was dumped in Skifander. So it's entirely possible that he married Zeetha's mother, had Zeetha as his firstborn, and then he had his son, Gilgamesah and had to flee Skifander to keep Gil alive. (Klaus does mention that the people of Skif might not be very happy at him for keeping Gil alive. Also, it would explain why Klaus speaks Skif and knows some Skif techniques. And would explain why Klaus hasn't seen his wife in a while.)

Of course, that's just speculation based off how Gil and Zeetha interact, particularly how Zeetha teases Gil.
