A quick shot of the first seven prototype modes.
Notes: I've tinkered with the pistol mode again. Now it looks more like a sawn-off two-barrel plasma shotgun, albeit one with an underslung laser targeting system. Cybertronian weapons can't all be the fancy 'makes sense' kind.
Here's also the first shot of the new train mode I was talking about earlier. As you can see, the symbols on the sides still need to be flipped and the weapons pod is riding on top and generally getting in the way. It's also nearly a fully front-on shot, so it's a bit hard to see how it really looks.
Things which still need working on:
- the weapons pod's default width needs to be increased
- the weapons pod's expansion joints need to be modelled
- the helicopter's tail needs to be created out of parts which will be modelled during one of the upcoming modes
- the Autobot symbols on the landing pad need to be flipped
- the other sides of the landing pad need to be painted so they can be used in some of these modes
- the weapons pod could be moved up behind the jet mode's upper flight deck
- the jet mode canards will need to be replaced with upcoming kibble
- the jet thrusters need to be remodelled
- the kibble for the remaining five modes
- a final decision on what to make the 12th mode, and whether a SkyLynx-style blocky panther is completely out of the question, and if not, where the flying heck I'm going to be able to cram paws/claws once everything else is jammed in
