Jet mode

Here's the squared-off version of the jet mode. I've tinkered with the positioning of the weapons pod, the canards, and added some test colour in places it should be mostly hidden in other modes.

Play value: The main railguns deploy and retract, the weapons pod barrels swing up and down nearly 360 degrees, the pod itself rotates 360 degrees, and the pod can be swung down under the jet or up top behind the top wedge, where it will eventually be remodelled to be able to expand sideways, allowing the barrels to peek out other side of the wedge and point forward.

I haven't modelled landing gear at this time, as I figure I'll need to add fiddly stuff for other modes first before seeing if there's a place to store them.

The canards will also probably be replaced with spikes formed from parts I haven't modelled yet.

To give a sense of toy scale, the jet mode will probably need to be at least seven inches long and nearly the same across in order to be able to accurately cast some of the smaller pieces. That's a minimum - it could be scaled up from there.

Note to self: I haven't included the accessory in this shot. I'm not sure if it should be simply tacked on somewhere as a generic sensor panel, or form part of the front landing gear... ooo. I've just had a thought involving a G1-Cyclonus-style nosewheel and a transforming tail from some yet-to-be-determined quadrupedal form.
