Weird dreams

Had at least five of them last night. Two were ones I remembered having afterwards, with the thought "They were pretty cool, I should write them down." Of course, I forgot what they were about. One was odd, but not odd enough to warrant a mention, just the kind of odd where things don't seem to work properly (a mild version of the powerlessness dream, I guess). One I can't remember at all other than that it happened.

And the last one was being a noir detective with the mutant power to control entropy levels to a limited degree constrained by morphic signatures, set in a world which was at least partially anthropomorphically furry, and and where the local culture shunned such mutant abilities. There was a local religious type who went bonkers over even the thought of such 'impure' abilities, which was kind of fun.

That one had enough material for an entire comic run.

ETA: No, wait, I remember one of the other dreams. It involved being a pyrokinetic apprentice monk of the draped-robe-wearing kind, fine-tuning my micropyrokinetic control by attempting to heat individual tips of metal needles which were moved closer and closer together. Loss of fine control meant that multiple needletips in an area glowed instead of just the one, and mental confusion produced a random sparkly pattern over a much larger area of the needle field. There was an older monk and a brand-new acolyte who turned up somewhere towards the end of the dream, with me having to psychically constrain the youngun's wild powers while he started his own first lessons in control.

No doubt these dreams were all deep and meaningful in some way... or maybe I simply read too many comics :)
