I wonder if anyone's thought of combining this DM-controllable dungeon projector:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReacTable and the computer-movable magnetic pieces found in the more expensive computerised chess sets?
You'd end up with a table which could track player game pieces and move/centre them when necessary, project sections of a dungeon and its denizens and events in real time with multiple layers controllable by the DM, and even do stuff like automatically move the player pieces when the dungeon changes to the next segment, or zooms out or in.
If you wanted to, you could even use webcams monitoring the table to read the results of things like die throws with unmodified dice, feeding them back into the action (under the master control of the DM, of course).
So - yes? No? Any good?
