The recent/ongoing/upcoming house price crash in America will, as a side-effect, produce excellent test data for my real estate algorithm, should I consider buying into the US market.
Man, I really need to look into some visualisation code coupled with real-time geozooming and cartogramming distortion, controlling some Lambert azimuthal equal-area projection effects.
Result: Tell the program to analyse an area and highlight certain types of results, and you get back a map which seems to be behind a layer of virtual glass, magnifying the most interesting areas according to their ranking.
