One thing that gives me crazed mad science giggles is the thought of designing a fully functional cosplay costume of either this character or his nemesis.

This is mainly because both of them are made up of a bunch of fairly autonomous parts, and 'fully functional' means that the costume has to be able to break apart into those components while still operating as a set, and then self-reassemble into the singular unit. I've been spending several years chewing on this problem, and I think I've figured out how to do it. Now all I need is the resources of a well-stocked machine shop and craft supplier, a year's free time, and a couple of tens of thousands of dollars, and I'd have the most awesome character costumes ever.
