And somehow I'm not at all surprised that Gojyo ended up being the ass.
Anyway, the comment is a result of this RP thread in which Hakkai is talking to Hakuryuu from a completely different Saiyuki cannon (it's some sort of video game, apparently?), in which the characters are... more traditional. With the exception of Sanzo being female. I thought that was pretty funny too.
