Hey hey! Hope you don't mind that I added you. (: It's the whole saiyuki thing, would be great to chat fandom with you!

Yeah, I don't mind. I'm always glad to meet another Saiyuki fan.

I'll add you back if you like, but most of my fandom-related entries are public anyway (or at least, I try to remember to make them that way) so you wouldn't need to be added in order to see them. On the other hand, the f-locked entries are about personal drama and the like, so you might not want to be bothered with them.

Please add me back if you're not going to get annoyed with my personal bits and bobs! (: Although there's nothing much in it for now, I'll start posting RL stuff under f-lock soon, though. And as for personal drama, I don't mind. (:

Alright. If you don't mind, then I'll add you.

I probably won't be annoyed with your personal bits and bobs, after all I've got plenty of those too. The thing that annoys me the most is when I add someone and they don't update or comment at all. I like to know the people on my lists, and how can I get to know someone if they never post anything? It makes no sense! If you're going to have an LJ, then use it.

As far as Saiyuki goes, I ship a lot of different pairings. Pretty much anything but 39, as I prefer to see them as having more of a father/son type relationship. But, anyway... I write a lot of fanfics. I usually post something at least once a week, and pimp it out over many different Saiyuki communities. So, you have been warned.

Eeeek. I sometimes disappear off the face of the earth when RL bites me in the ass. Like it should be doing now, because I'm having exams and yet I'm here, not motivated enough to haul myself out of fandom. But I'll do my best! (:

Mm, I ship 585 mostly, hard, and I agree with you about the 39 thing. I see it more as father/son, mostly because I can't stop thinking of Gaiden!Goku. Who looks about 5. :x Of course, really good fic's still really good fic. XD I'll definitely catch up on reading your fic once I get over the exams thing -eager-, but for now, I'm lurking on LJ, typing a little, but mostly staring blankly at textbooks pretending I'm actually absorbing. ^^

It's alright if you disappear off the face of the earth now and then (I actually did that once before, myself.) as long as you come back, eventually. Some people just disappear altogether. If someone's gone for more then half a year, I generally have to let them go.

383 is my OTP, but I have a real soft spot for 585 too. I would say they're like my second OTP, if that's allowed. I also like 353, 898, and... a lot of other pairings that would probably take too long to list. As for Goku and Sanzo... they sort of remind me of myself and my little brother when he was like, eight. That boy would not stop talking unless you hit him over the head with something. I may not have had a paper fan, but my hand and the occasional paper plate worked just fine.

Meh... that reminds me, I should be studying too.

Ahahaha, I see what you mean about the half a year thing. It's so easy to fall out of touch.

I used to ship 383 something fierce, back when I really didn't like 585, believe it or not. Alas, a girl's mind is a fickle thing. XD Didn't try my hand at writing 383 though, before I changed OTP. XD Mm, do you see Gaiden pairings in the same way? And you have a little brother. D: I want one. I've got a sister older by 5 years, and she's reminds me of Sanzo, instead. In a violent, brash, grudgingly affectionate kind of way. Like, if I called her on the phone, she'd see my number and pick up and go "what." D: Ahahaha, but your brother sounds really cute. XD Is your age gap big?

I'm still here. -stares at clock in dismayyy-

I didn't like 585 at first, either, oddly enough. I thought about switching my OTP from 383 to 585 once or twice, but I love Sanzo far too much for that ( ... )

Ahahaha, I'm immensely fond of Sanzo, myself, and he was my favourite for a good long while. Strangely, it was Hakkai I didn't like, but then again, I had very weird notions of the ideal man when I was that bit younger. It's changed, that's for sure. XD

They do seem different, but it's not startlingly so, like, there's bits that still have the same kind of feel. Ohh. 10K is wholly responsible for my conversion to 585. -laughs- And I see your point about how they generally seem more stable, less depressive in Gaiden. Their experiences in their reincarnation are akin to traumatising, really. XD Yeah, pretty much the same, like you said ( ... )

Oh, I was the exact opposite. I actually hated Sanzo the first time I saw him because he reminded me of my father (an abusive blond-haired asshole) and, I liked Hakkai... because I usually like the intellectual characters. But then I realized that Sanzo was actually very caring, in spite of his little outbursts. Unlike my father, Sanzo doesn't leave marks when he hits people. And... after awhile I realized that I identify with him in a lot of ways ( ... )
