I don't friggen believe it

I give up. I've been sitting here for about 10 minutes, and I had a nice LONG post written up, and I was just about to finish it when .. I don't know, I hit a few buttons by accident on this silly keyboard, and everything was deleted!!!! Oh, and it was a pretty good post, too. I don't feel like writing most of it over again.. Oh crap. I hate progress. Stupid computers... Now it's put me in an irritated mood! Oh well, I suppose I'll just start talking again and see if I can get some of it down again.
So this has been a weekend of socializing. Yesterday was my grandparent's 60th anniversary celebration. IT was a full day spent around relatives and old people I had to pretend to remember from my childhood. It wasn't so bad. Just very tiring - by 10 o'clock at night, you're ready to just go home, change into comfy clothes and vedge. Even the dance wasn't all that bad. My mom had quite a bit of fun being the DJ. BUt thankfully the night ended before she got to her Macarane dance. She wanted to get everyone up so she could teach us how to dance that silly dance. I was quite prepared to go and hide in the bathroom. But it was fortunately avoided. I did even dance a few times. My daddy asked me, my grandfather, and my cousin Angela got me to dance a fast one, to an old song, "wake up Suzie." The music was fun to listen to. My mom planned it so we went through 40's, 50's, and 60's music, all the way up to the present. But we didn't even get to the 80's before everyone was so tired we had to go home. I wasn't complaining by the end either..
And today after church there was a fellowship time downstairs for "newcomers." My parents and I went, my sister was working at her catering job. So this has really been a weekend of socializing. But I have survived, and I feel quite proud of myself. I even wore a skirt, for two days in a row. That's quite an improvement for me, considering how I was but a year ago. It was new skirt I bought with my friend in Kingston on Thursday.
Silly girl, Lindsay my friend in Kingston broke her toe the day before I went up to stay over at her house. Her sister and her got fooling around, and Lindsay was shoved into a wall. Her two little toes are now all blue and black. And they live with two large, overly hyper golden retrievers in their small half-of-a-house in a subdivision. So her avoiding those two clumsy dogs is quite a feat. And yet when I was over, the one dog managed to step on her toes going up the stairs. You should have heard Lindsay scream! As dear as she is, she tends to over-react when it comes to pain. Ah well, we went shopping for awhile, albeit at a slower pace.
I'm a little disappointed however. I wanted to go to the theatres to see "Ella Enchanted" with my mom when I got home, but now it's suddenly gone from the theatres. I might have to drive to Kingston to see it. (How desperate am I?) I haven't been to the movies in awhile, and it's not often I get to go. This is one I'd really like to see... But we shall see.
There, I think I've written about the same amount as I did the FIRST time. Silly computer... So I guess I'll stop now. My sister or parents should be getting home soon. I've had the house to myself for the evening. I ate my supper (2 hot dogs), watched the movie "Fly Away HOme" (good good movie), and now I've had dessert (you CAN'T go without that). So.. good night!
