Ireland
Hey Everyone!
I hope you all had a great christmas and new year. I have finally embarked on my adventure for the semester, and am sitting in an internet cafe in Killarney, Ireland. I still have a week of touring the countryside before orientation begins in Limerick (For those of you who do not already know I'm spending the semester abroad at the University of Limerick with my boyfriend, Kyle). We have been in Ireland since the 24th. The first two days we spent in Limerick, attempting to adjust to the 8 hour time change. We went out to eat for my birthday (I'm now 20!!) and then we headed down to the Dingle Peninsula. We spent the last two nights at a hostel in Dingle. Yesterday we walked along the coast for a bit and discovered a beach full of shipwrecked boats. Today we are heading down to Cork, with a breif stop in Killarney to see a bit of the park. Tomorrow it's off to explore Blarney (I know I've been there before, but it was just too neat and I didn't have nearly enough time to see everything I wanted) anyway this is my brief update for now. I'll try to make semi-regular posts (with pictures!).
