I love being able to feel the connections between people. I think that is what i believe in more then anything else, connections. I think they are real tangible things that can litterly be broken and built up. It makes me happy to sit in a room and sence the love and admiration and general feeling of friendship. I have fallen in with a wonderful group of people. They all went to school togeather... i think it was a bording school of sorts so this for them is just an extension of highschool. It was nice last night because we were watching Firefly the TV show on DV so we could see Serentiy today and anyway there was a point when one of thier friends who went elsewhere called and they talked to her for about 2 hours and everyone was just sitting there being themselves. me croucheing, Melissa knitting, Maggie reading, Alex talking on the phone... and well the conversations was sooo... sooo... i don't know those conversations you have with people your close to about nothing and everything all at once... the ones where you just talk. I haven't had those for a while and it was nice to hear one... anyway i just love being around people like that... and to start to for my own conections with them...
on anouther note they are thinking of banning a bunch of books from Arkansa public libraries and schools... The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of them... pisses you off doesn't it... i can't stand the cloesed mindedness around here...
