i think retconning sucks...so i've been doing a serious amount of research for my graphic novel...more than i'v ever done for school....all of my characters are going to have historical resonance...significant figures who's actions transformed them into a specific type of demonship that i made up...anyways the story is inhumanly multi-layered, with ( Read more... )

It sounds outstanding

BUT

visual writing is a thousand times harder than regular writing.

Maybe it won't be for you, but based on the commentaries I've heard for 'Samurai Jack,' 'Triplets of Belleville' and 'WALL-E,' it takes years and years and years of experience to clearly tell a story on an external level.

But you're right--that's the great ideal; using a visual medium in its purest form.
Undertake it because it's right for the story (which it sounds like it could be...it's a nifty premise),
and because you want the challenge.

Whether or not you should do it because it'd be easier...I dunno.
Plz post as you develop. I'm interested.
