So, at the encouragement of my sister and a dear friend who is a Chiropractor/Nutritionist/all around awesome individual....I am doing a 21 day nutrition program that will help cleanse my liver, kidneys, and detox my system from processed foods. (I love me some processed foods!)
I am taking all these crazy supplements, drinking shakes (that aren't that bad), and eating a shitton of fresh produce.
Here's the funny part...I really don't feel that hungry. Seriously. I'm having a problem finishing my shakes because I genuinely don't feel hungry. BUT, I'm pushing through and finishing them because I know they have good stuff in them that I need right now.
A bad thing...my head is killing me! Day two without coffee and I'm ready to start punching some babies...or kittens...or anything that gets in my way RAWWWWWWR! lol.
Plus, I'm peeing A LOT. Not like I didn't pee enough already (kidney issues and all), but it's like WHOA...a lot of potty breaks.
But, I'm enjoying the journey. And I'm hoping that the end result is a Marina that feels better overall, and maybe has the motivation to make some permanent changes in my eating behavior. I don't know how this is possible yet, seeing as how things like gruyere cheese and
Little Anita's still exist.....but I'm sure I can work those things back in down the line :).
