hi friends
the ny trip ended up being an eastcoast trip, and it was a one city a day sort of thing, exciting but tiring! we hit up queens, manhattan, new jersey, atlantic city, washington dc, as well as passing by philadelphia and maryland. the first night was hell though, we had no reservations, so we had nowhere to go. we were tired, hot, and hungry, so you can imagine everyone being a little annoyed. but the minute we had food in us and a place to stay for a discounted price it was all good.
my sister went on a shopping spree especially in new jersey where they have NO TAX on clothes! can you imagine that? tax makes a whole lotta difference. i, for one was more reluctant to spend money, it's OK though! i definitely want to go back and next time, stay mostly in ny. driving around for 6 days is just too much especially in humid weather, don't do it!
