SPOILERS for Heroes: How to Stop an Exploding Man
PETER CAN FLY. I'm very glad Nathan got to redeem himself, and the brother love was touching, but, seriously. PETER CAN FLY. He did not need his big brother. Nathan didn't have to die.
However, KYOTO!
Also, "Hiro, you look bad ass"!
Also, Mohinder. He wants to keep Molly for his very own! He was also clearly born to be an army medic or something.
Also, the Niki and not!Jessica fight was completely bitchin'.
EDIT in defense of Nathan over at
cruisedirector's
post.I think Nathan has been working up to this for a while. It was there when he spoke to his mother, you could see it. I think he wanted to help, he really did. I don't think it was selfish motives. I think it was defeat, insecurity. Peter may feel he can't do anything without his brother's help but at least he has someone to turn to. Since their father died Nathan has no one. Everyone is convincing him it's hopeless. Even his mother. And just as Matt knows everyone's true feelings when he reads their minds, when Peter read Nathan's he heard that Nathan honestly believed nothing could be done. I think it took Claire's devotion, her hope, to make him realize it could be different. And to make him realize that he couldn't let Peter take on that kind of monumental guilt. Whether or not it was out of compassion for the city or concern for his brother, I don't think that matters. The action was the same.
Also, if he was a selfish bastard, I think he could have said: "Pete, man, don't you remember you can fly? Now get your ass into space before you ruin my suit!"
Oh man. I love Mohinder so desperately. He was very like an army medic, jumpig from trench to trench, saving whatever life he came across! I hope he and Molly live happily ever after! I really do. Even if Molly is sort of hung up on Parkman. She can have lots of daddies! And they can have playdates with Micah!
