somewhat damaged
I just heard the new NIN song on the radio on my way home, a miracle in itself as I almost never listen to the radio. Once I realized what I was hearing I shouted excited profanities and turned the volume way up. Honestly, I'm teerering on a fence here. It was fantastic to hear something new from Trent, and yet I must express my confusion at the, um... dance beat.

I've heard it a few times now. I've seen the video. I feel (a little) better about it and have gotten over the initial shock. Just not what I expected. Have to hear the rest of the album, of course. The dance beat thing comes mostly from the synthesizer sound he chose. Odd, that.
