Title: Mysterious
Vidder: darkbunnyrabbit
Music & Artist: Make a Man Out of You, Donny Osmond
Size: 22.7mb
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VSRTldf0hc

Notes: Spoilers throughout the miniseries. Slightly AU.

Overall impression:  Interesting look at how DG, Glitch, Ra, and Cain bonded together and a neat take on Cain as the leader of a "rag-tag" group.

Titles: None that I saw.

Music choice: Interesting musical choice.  I hadn't heard the song before and, honestly, when I saw Donny Osmond's name I was a little skeptical but it works with the overall feel and theme of the vid.

Narration, Tone and Movement: The narration of the song is pretty well matched by the clips used.  The focus of the vid is split between Cain, as the leader, and the rest of the group.  The tone is light-hearted but true to the tone of the miniseries as an "us versus them" scenario.  The movement is a bit strange at times but I think that's mainly because I see Tin Man as more of a team thing than any one person as a leader because they all led when needed.  The choice of clips worked well together, too.  They matched the song quite well.

Cuts, Transitions, Effects & Colouring/Coloring: The coloring was a bit distracting as it was black and white with a teal colored border around the vid.  There weren't any special effects or transitions which I found refreshing.  The focus remained on the vid and the song.

Specific vid & music notes: The beginning of the vid establishes who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.  I liked that.
- 0:53 - The lyric was "tranquil as a forest" and the vidder chose a wonderful scene of DG in the forest at Finaqua.  I loved that.
- 1:24 - this began a little sequence in the song where individuals in the group have lines and the vidder used some of my favorite scenes for each of the team's shots here.
- 1:44 - Okay one of my two favorite parts of the vid.  There is a slightly faster tempo to the song here and the vidder chose clips of Glitch kicking ass and I LOVED THAT!  Even Cain was impressed! ;)
- 3:09 - Next favorite part of the vid.  The lyric is "mysterious as the dark side of the moon" and the vidder chose a clip from towards the end of Tin Man that I adore of DG and Azkadelia.

Final notes: Overall this was an interesting vid.  The black and white coloring of the vid is a little off putting given how colorful Tin Man was but this is an interesting look at how Cain could've viewed this group of rebels in their fight against Azkadelia.
