Why you should download this vid:
This vid is so awesome, it has made me enjoy the song "Ice Ice Baby". It's very clever, matching up clips from each show with the samples from the two songs to make two interwoven vids fighting it out for the screen. It's also really funny :)
You can probably get away without having seen FLCL, but I think a lot of the humour would be lost if you didn't know how Totally Wrong the contexts for the Evangelion clips are (then again, maybe not)
Also, I'll just take this moment to rec thefourthvine, whose entertaining and infectiously enthusiastic recs have gotten me to try many a vid or fic I would normally have dimissed. Here's the review which made me think dowloading Vanilla Ice maybe didn't sound so bad.

For some reason the AMVs I really love tend to be clever mashups or meta-humour rather than straight vids, I may post some of the few more traditional "fanvid" like AMVs I like too for those who prefer that style On further investigation, I realise I pretty much only like AMVs which are clever mashups or meta-humour etc, I just have a reasonably large collection of them :)
