the shindig was shindigering! and i now am up a bottle of jeager and half a bottle of Vodka, so huzzah to my teatotaling ass, that will break it! ben came and gave me a present! he brought a framed pic he took of me and Rose at my mom's birthday! she's SO cute! and i also got a bunch of music from him. including older beck, mr. bungle, older radiohead i don't have, and other things (electric gypsyland) and then we went out today to Record Archive and i picked up The Decemberist "picaresque" and The Mars Volta "deloused in the comatorium". so i will not be bored while driving to morrow at work! woo hoo. our apartment is looking even cooler due to some last minute decorations we hadn't put up yet, and i'm feeling nice and cozy with my girl today. happy days to all of you and happy winter solstice.
