As of yesterday, IceSave Nederland, an Internet-savings bank and daughter company of Icelands Landsbanki operating in the Netherlands has pulled the plug on its servers and €1.6 billion in savings have been frozen.
With the Icelandic government stating that it will not (or rather cannot) honour its legally obligated deposit protection for UK IceSave customers at least , Dutch savers have sent for the debt collectors and the Volkskrant reports that the National Debt Collection Agency's Baillifs have seized Landsbanki and IceSave assets.
The Dutch National Debt Collection Agency Servers have crashed, so that's all the news that's there at the mo.
