Does Comparing Healthcare Policies Really Work

Lower Health Insurance Costs ?

#healthcare (Health Insurance Costs)

Ever since 2010 and the great healthcare, health insurance debate turned into what is now healthcare, health insurance policy, much has been made of the fact that more and more Americans are no longer being denied policies, and that many policies are also costing less, or more?  At the heart of this discussion is a belief that "Obamacare" has embraced the originally Republican idea of strengthening consumer choices by way of, ironically, strengthening the hands of insurance companies.

I got to thinking during the State of the Union speech tonight, is this new health insurance deal working so far? In my own experience, I have continued to see employer-sponsored healthcare rates go up and/or benefits go down - at rather striking rates this past year. But I am also aware of the window health insurance companies have had to boost up their rates before "the clampdown" came. Still, it's already 2012, and our household just got whacked with yet another rather sizable increase in premiums. Sizable increase like W owwwie.

So, while this is a little belated - been very busy for the last few days, I thought that this would be an appropriate Weekly Topic, this week. Without further ado
