Allow me to be more specific to my "specious crap" allegation. From the linked article:

That's reasonable. But the snippet I accused of specious crap-tasticality was the very next sentence.
Repeat after me, Mr. Davis: technology and economy are different. Please to write it again and again on the blackboard until something akin to reasonable thought penetrates your skull.
