I am searching for fanfiction where River is not the only one special talented but Simon as well.
I once read a one shot or short story where Simon makes an offhand remark about the difficulty in rescuing River from the compound where she was kept and Mal was confused about that as Simon told an other story of Rivers rescue before and then River remarks "Simon had first to break out and then could he return to get me".
Or something like that.
