Elijah didn't truly feel her shift--there was nothing she did that pulled him to wakefulness, except, perhaps, a draw of breath, or the flicker of the sun itself. He shifted, then, nuzzling absently at her neck. The scent of her was familiar, now, comforting in its own way. He'd not expected this to last. Three months didn't say it was going to, of course, but his brother seemed inclined to continue the game--if that's what it was--for a while, at least.

A few tense moments, a few shivers of concern for his brother's mood, but they had passed without major incident. A little yielding, giving in on a point or two and things smoothed out well enough.

"Good morning...." He kept his voice sot, not wanting to wake Klaus., for the same reason. "Or afternoon...."

Elena's lips curved in amusement against his mouth as she smiled softly into the light kiss, her hand shifting to skim lightly over his side, trailing a slow caress upwards. "I think it's actually closer to good evening." She kept her voice just as soft as his, the low note husky still from sleep.

Curling her arm around his shoulders, she trailed her nails lightly into his hair and over his scalp as she kissed him again.

"Hmm...just about time to be getting up, then," he murmured, leaning into her a bit more and sliding his hand slowly up her side, careful to avoid Klaus's arm. He wouldn't sleep through too much more, if either of them kept moving but Elijah was vaguely amused at the idea of seeing just how much it took to wake him.

Then she had to grin even more as she broke the kiss and turned her head to greet Klaus with a kiss before rolling her eyes in amusement. "Morning for us." Really, her sleep schedule was completely turned around. Not that she was complaining as she didn't need as much sleep as she used to...and they did still spend a lot of time in bed.
