*sighs*

To cool myself down... some weird dreams. This is left public for those who want to get a snippet of my twisted mind or want to take a stab at interpreting my dreams!

I went grocery shopping with my mom and dad. The super market looks normal, but it only allows a certain number of customers in the store. We had to wait for our turn. We were waiting with our shopping cart as we watched people check out. The staff member monitoring/managing the line of customers waiting to get in was nice.

After we went into the store, I was transported to another dream. I was at a busy street corner in a big city. A man in a PhD graduation gown walked up to me and made a request. He looked a little disheveled. I either couldn't hear him or don't remember what he requested, but my response was, "You got a PhD, you can do that on your own." That seemed to click for him because he said, "Yes, I'll take care of this."

This dream may have been induced by moving back to Bay Area.

I was walking at a Pier 39-like place with either Matt or Liev Schreiber - I couldn't see clearly, but he was a tall, white male with stubbles that borderline on a beard, whose voice I recognize, which I attributed to either Matt or my favorite celebrity crush (why not). We were shopping, not necessarily grocery shopping, but there's lots of food around us. The place smelled like bread. The floor and walls were in sepia tone. The ceiling and light fixtures were in gunmetal gray tones. Not sure if we actually purchased anything, but we decided it's time to go home. Somehow, we didn't exit on the land side. We were underneath the dock, standing on the rocks and looking out at the waves. Two submarines (??) surfaced. We looked at each other. We didn't say a word. Instead, we communicated telepathically (????) and thought, "Oh shit, these are Russian subs (?????). Did they see us?" They didn't, because they submerged. If they did, they would've killed us.

Okay...

I was walking on lily pads on a lake/pond. I was by a bridge made of stones. Not quite under it, but I can see vines climbing up from the pond onto the bridge and its underside. Instinctively, I knew that if I jump, I can fall into the water below and swim if I choose. I looked up at the bridge again and saw my aunt. I waved and said, "Hey, Aunt Connie! You can come down here if you want, but don't jump unless you want to get wet." I don't think she responded. I noticed a building that looks like a university or hospital in the distance on a hill (the pond is the lowest part in the area).

I think I did some walking, but I was quickly inside the building - quicker than I could have covered the distance from the pond to the building by normal walking or running. The building turned out to be either a hospital or hospice. The inside of the building looked incredibly luxurious and modern - far more than your run of the mill hospital/hospice. The hallway had vaulted ceilings and the light coming through the stained glass gave the place a blue hue.

I walked into a huge room and spoke with a man around his 50's. We seemed to be good friends. He fell asleep and I adjusted his blanket for him. I half hoped that my movements would wake him up so I can ask him for his phone number (???), but he didn't. I thought I'll come back next time and talk to him again. I petted his dog (??) and left.

I noticed that I see greens and blues most often in my dreams, followed by light brown - specifically, wood - and gray tones. In my dreams, different shades of green and blue are the only bright colors I see. I hardly ever see red, purple, orange, yellow, or pink in my dreams. If I do see these bright colors, they're often an insignificant part of the dream, like the color of the staff's outfit in the super market (they were a soft pink). I also dream about oceans and trees/plants a lot, which is probably associated with the colors, though I don't know whether the colors or subjects come first.
