Friday night, Barricade played a pretty lousy show in OCMD. It was a ton of fun just being in that town though and driving by where I was for senior week. Haha when we arrived at the show, they asked us if we brought a PA system, so you know already that's a bad sign. On the downside, we didn't get paid, there were a couple of drunk white trash idiots, and we used a really shitty PA system that some douches brought. On the upside, Grano made out with a MILF, the other bands were good dudes and we had fun just goofing off in the hotel room and on the beach and shit.
We got offered to play at the Sidebar in Baltimore the following night with Spit on your grave, bringing back the glory, redtops (who were all on the previous night's show) as well as scheduled beating and Wisdom in Chains. I was supposed to work Saturday, so I called my work and told them our van broke down and I wouldn't be able to make it in. So anyhow, we played really fucking tightly and again got a great response. People are really digging our new material and we got a bunch of compliments after our set, so that was sweet. Baltimore seemed to have a pretty large skinhead (SHARP) crew down there too, which was good to see.
They also had a large amount of heroin addicts who were doing this creepy sleepwalking/ tai chi looking shit on the streets. They looked like they would just fall the fuck over if you blew on them. It was pretty hilarious.
Overall, I can't fucking wait to tour this summer. Motherfuckers got hollered at and dildoed on the road, and we just had a blast monkeying around. Everyone check out Barricade's myspace(myspace.com/barricade) to see our sweet shows coming up.
