If you HAD to replace one band member, who would it be and why?
As the sole member of the Brobecks, my only option is to replace myself. I would replace myself with Freddy Mercury.

Now, that (he/she) is pissed about that answer, can I join the band instead?

I'm still trying to figure out when the hell it is, because Dallon's said it's at 8, and it says 8 on the Brobecks' myspace, but the Kirby Court webpage says 6:30!!! ARRRGHH

My guess would be openers at 6:30 and actual Brobecks at 8? We could try tweeting and asking, does he ever ANSWER people who tweet questions? Or we could e-mail the band's account, assuming it has one...I got the loveliest e-mail from Greta about New York dates, when I sent one to Gold Motel's addy.

He does sometimes? Or he used to, he direct messaged me once about Brobecks' wiki page. But I've @ed him four times about it with no reply, and I actually don't think they have a band email. *sigh* Maybe I'll throw an @reply to Breezy, she tends to answer fan questions more than Dallon does...

edit: oh, now the Brobecks' myspace says 6 pm. I'm just gonna show up at five and hope for the best xD

I'm taking the bus+Trax up, so I keep double checking times and the address, and I probably will step off UTA with no clue where I am like I did trying to find In The Venue for TAI's show in October xD

Whichever! I am not sure what time I will be able to get down but I will call/email/something you when I get to SLC to make sure you are not wandering the bare and creepy streets around Kilby.

Not precisely...I mean, the actual venue is family-owned (I think), by people who live in a house next door...but it is basically surrounded by warehouses and maybe one or two office buildings that are empty of people by the time the music starts (which is why they could get a permit for rock music until midnight, of course.) It's not the worst part of town, but not really a very nice part either, and there aren't a lot of people around in the evenings (unless you're arriving/leaving with the crowd going to the concert.) The street it's on and the actual venue are small and reasonably safe, especially for the kind of acts I tend to be there for.

Although the creepiness may have been magnified in my head by the fact that I inevitably wind up driving around in endless semi-concentric circles surrounded by tall gray buildings and barren grey wasteleands for anywhere up to two hours before managing to find the damn street, even when I have been there less than three months before.
